Dear Family and Friends,
We have a few needs we would like to share with you this week. Daniel and I will be returning to the USA on February 1st and there are several things we would like to finish before our return.
First, we had to have some bedroom furniture made for our house parents at Agape Home. They have been making due with the few old pieces that we had there but we really want to get them some proper furniture to put their clothes in so they don’t have to keep them in boxes and bags. I had a carpenter come last week to measure so we could make the best use of the vertical and horizontal space in their room and the whole thing including new mattress cost us about $1,000. If you can help us by giving towards this need, please either send a check to the address below with a note that says, “house parents furniture” or include those words in the notes section of a PayPal donation. Second, I ask you to please to go to our website link http://www.childrenintheson.com/projects/good-beginnings-preschool/ and take a look at the beautiful children that we have in our Good Beginnings Preschool. We have identified a super young Christian woman that we would like to hire to educate these children. Plus, we provide the children with a nutritious snack each day. Last week, I had the unfortunate opportunity to witness two of the children wolfing down her sandwich as if she were starved. I am sure it is the only regular meal that many of them get each day. We also provide vitamin fortified yogurt and vitamins for the children. The monthly cost to sponsor a child is $65 per month. We ask you to either donate all or some of the monthly cost so we can continue this project. You will receive quarterly correspondence from Alina, our social worker, about the child you sponsor. If you have questions about sponsoring, please let me know. You can either sponsor by check or via PayPal. Be sure you include the child’s name on a separate note so we know which child to allocate the funds for.
Lastly, many of you will remember Mona from Agape Home that moved out last spring and is now a part of our “Nurture Network” project that Neli has started. In this project, we now provide baby formula, vitamins, cereal, bottles and clothing to ten mothers that are at high risk for abandoning their infants. Unlike the others in the project, Mona has no home (she was raised in an orphanage her entire life) so we have been sponsoring her since last April through many of you that committed the $200 per month to help her.

Mona has done amazingly well in her job, raising Maria, and living a life honoring The Lord. We are very proud of her. If any of you would like to continue helping Mona and Maria, she would be very thankful and so would we.
We are looking forward to seeing many of you after we return to update the churches that sponsor us. We are extremely busy this last week because we are moving out of the house we have been renting. Please pray for us to get all that we intend accomplished before we leave next Friday. We thank you so much for your prayer and financial support of us and our ministry.
