Dear Family and Friends,
Well, I guess you could say that prayers regarding us not sitting for a long time on the tarmac were answered because after we sat for an hour, our flight was canceled and they sent us back to the terminal. They rescheduled us on a later flight with a new routing through Paris and when it was clear we weren’t going to make that flight either, he suggested we try again tomorrow. We agreed that was probably best and because we had no mobile phone with us to call anyone, we decided a hotel was the best way so here we sit in a hotel with all our bags. We thought you would enjoy seeing all of our bags since about 984 asked us if we were moving somewhere. It was probably funny the first time someone said it today but I really don’t remember now.

As you can see, I’m not great with the timer on the camera because I cut my head off but concluded that the point for you to see was all the baggage that Daniel and I got to handle a multitude of times today!
We start the whole adventure again tomorrow, this time flying from Raleigh to Boston, then Boston to JFK, and, lastly, JFK to Budapest. Please pray that tomorrow is an easier day than today was!
We also ask you to pray for the sister of one of our Education Inspiration students, Crina. Crina’s sister, Ioana, has been diagnosed with an eye condition that the doctor said could eventually leave her blind. We are sending her to another doctor to get a better diagnosis but, as you can imagine, the family is very distraught because they don’t have the funds to pay for whatever treatment she might need. We have told them not to be concerned until we have better medical information. My prayer is that Ioana’s eye would be totally healed and need NO medical intervention! God is able and I have seen Him heal time and time again.
Daniel and I will be back in Romania for a little more than a week when our first team comes to help do some construction on the house of Alina, another Education Inspiration student. In a month, another team will come from Raleigh to put a roof on this structure. (What is to be the home of Crina.)

We are so excited to see The Lord bless these hard working families and as I thought about this week why The Lord would have us focus on this for these families, He clearly gave me a goal: Psalm 116:1-2 “I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.” I have always used this verse as a verse that I felt like personally applied to me but The Lord showed me this was to be our goal. These girls and families should see that through our ministry and the people He sends over, that He is answering their cries for mercy and the outcome should be that they will call on him as long as they live. I will share this insight with both of the families when we return so they understand why we are doing this in the name of Jesus. It is truly the desire of our heart to see every member of all of these families live their lives in a way that shows they love The Lord and that they have the faith to call on Him for anything. I can hear some of you saying, “Amen to that!”
Thank y’all for praying and for blessing us.
asking in the Son,
Michelle
