Psalms 10:14 “But you, O God, do see trouble and grief; you consider it to take it in hand. The victim commits himself to you; you are the helper of the fatherless.”
Dear Family and Friends,
I have a precious photo to show you of our newest addition to Agape Home who is only a few hours old in this photo.

This precious baby boy (not yet named) was born at 5 a.m. this morning (Romanian time) to our Agape Home resident who was WAY over her due date. He is obviously very large for a newborn and we praise The Lord that he is doing so well. His mother had an extremely hard time in labor and no one would give her medical attention because she did not have any extra money to slip into the pockets of the medical staff. I understand the “mid-wife” behaved horribly with her. This is the sad and frustrating reality that we deal with in Romania. The new baby boy is being loved and pampered by our wonderful hospital worker, Ibi, who takes care of other newborns that are abandoned.
One of our social workers, Neli, told me that the two children that were abandoned at Agape Home were finally taken by the local child protection and she talked to the foster family and found out that they are not doing well in their adjustment. We ask you to please pray for the hearts of these children to be comforted by The Lord and for the new family to have patience.
Our Agape Home house parents, Nicu and Flori, have resigned from their position and will be leaving September 1st. We are heartbroken to see them go but we pray The Lord will guide and direct out ministry in what He would have us to next. Daniel and I will be busy bees sorting all of this out once we return on the 16th.
Our fundraising efforts for the 4 X 4 truck also definitely need prayer. We really need to have the truck purchased right after we return so we can get building supplies and other materials out to the villages where we will be improving homes for our Education Inspiration families. We will be sending out a postal mailing regarding this soon but if you are not on our postal mailing list and would like to give to this, please write, “truck campaign” on the check.
We thank you so much for those of you that faithfully pray for us personally and this ministry. We have needed them considerably over the past several weeks.
Basking In The Son,
Michelle
