Mission to Romania

Thank You For Your Prayers

Dear Family and Friends,

The good news:

Thank you so much for your prayers and all the advice on how to “whup” sickness.  I can tell you the prayers definitely were answered.  Although I did get sick, it seems that it is only a head cold and not really a bad one thus far.  I did just fine traveling and managed to get THREE SEATS to myself which I quickly turned into a bed and actually SLEPT on the flight across the Atlantic.  This, my friends, is most definitely a miracle!!  I praise The Lord for His provision in allowing me to rest.  It didn’t really turn into a cold until last night after we were in Romania.  Isn’t God good!

Now, the bad news:

I should have asked for Daniel’s health to be prayed for as well as mine.  He woke up with the full blown flu today and has had a fever of 101 degress Fahrenheit.  He told me that he is just praising The Lord it hit him quickly after all the traveling and everything was over.  I hope it will be pass quickly.  It breaks my heart to see my forever Valentine so sick.  His appetite hasn’t slowed down one bit nor has the flu affected his desire to eat chocolate!!!  I ask you to please join me in praying for him to be his normal, energetic self soon.

We didn’t leave the house today but we did see several of our employees who came by to visit and I talked to Alina, our hospital worker in Oradea, told me she has ten babies in her section right now.  The lady who traveled with us from the USA, Bonnie, will begin working with Alina tomorrow to help out.

Again, I thank all you wonderful people for your prayers and words of encouragement.  For those of you who emailed me, I will respond personally very soon.

Basking In The Son,

Michelle

P.S. – I officially started sweet tea withdrawal today!
