“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” – John 10:27
Dear Family and Friends,
Since my last update, the Lord answered prayers for us concerning Robert so we could have contact a bit longer. Because the local child protection was going to place him in a foster home, they were required to do blood work on Robert. His screening for syphilis came back positive because his mother had syphilis during her pregnancy and even though it was only the antibody that showed up in his blood work, the local child protection would not take him into custody until he had been treated with antibiotics. (I know for you medical people, this is insane.)

The happy part is that he was admitted into the local Children’s hospital and my friend, Dr. Bereki, had him transferred to her floor where our Arms of Mercy caregivers work. He is getting excellent care from Alina and Mihaela and continuing to smile and laugh! I visited last week and here is a photo of me doing what I love to do most….kissing babies!
The photo at the top was taken by Daniel right outside the gate of Agape Home. I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed seeing the shepherd with all those sheep! It is a good reminder to all of us to listen closely to our Shepard and to follow Him so we will not stray from His presence.
Basking in the Son,
Michelle
