Dear Family and Friends,
Daniel and I would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas!! Our fundraising “tour” ended Wednesday and we are now happily packing for our return to Romania next Tuesday. We are so thrilled to be in Romania for Christmas for the first time. It has been a fun challenge to hide Christmas gifts in our luggage from each other! Our employees tell us they are forecasting a white Christmas in Oradea so that should be fun!
It was so good reconnecting with many of you and taking the time to visit. We thank so many of you for your gift of hospitality by providing housing for us, paying for meals, and providing other needs that arose.
I spoke to Nicu and Flori from Agape Home today and I asked them to please send me photos of our little residents at Agape Home. I hope this photo of two beautiful, healthy babies blesses you as much as it did me! The little girl in the photo is in the process of being adopted by a loving, Christian family. What a special blessing she will be for them. The verses I quoted above were verses The Lord used to speak to my house about why a baby needed to be cared for BEFORE they were born. Thus, the Agape Home project was birthed. We thank The Lord for all the lives we were able to touch in His name in 2005 and we pray 2006 will bring even more glory to His name!
Our raffle is over and we thank those of you who purchased tickets and participated in selling them for us. It was tremendously successful and the winners of both prizes were both from North Carolina.
