Mission to Romania

Chicago, NC fundraising concert and Romanian

Dear Family and Friends,

Merry Christmas to everyone!  Daniel and I are WAY in the Christmas spirit and already celebrating Jesus’ birth!  On Friday night, we saw a performance of Handel’s Messiah at Duke Chapel and it was a perfect jump start for the Christmas season.  We were blessed to have the company of our friends, Scott and Meghan Kinney, who drove up from Charleston, SC.

I wanted to let you know a few upcoming events.  First, Daniel and I will be in the Chicago area from December 11th – 16th.  If any of you are in that area, we would love to see you!  We have several ministry presentations lined up so please pray for us as we present and travel.

Daniel and I were given 30 Romanian Contemporary Christian CDs to sell as a means to help our Romanian friends, Adi and Flori Galigher, support their music ministry in Oradea, Romania.  The CDs are really very good and they wrote all the music.  Our friends are selling their CDs for $10 each.  If you would like to buy one and you need us to mail it to you, it will cost an additional $1.50 for mailing for a total of $11.50 per CD.  (This postage cost is only for people in the USA.  If you are outside the USA and would like one, I will inquire at the post office and let you know the amount.)  If you would like a CD, you should make checks payable to us personally and send to the following address:

Daniel and Michelle Sims
284 Mae Byrd Rd., Apt. I-3
Lillington, NC 27546

Also, for those of you in the area of my hometown in NC, there will be a concert fundraiser to benefit our ministry on December 17th in Turner Hall at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC.  The concert admission is 2 canned food items which will benefit a local soup kitchen.  The music will be a mixture of Contemporary Christian Christmas music.  We would love to see you there!

May The Lord bless you as you celebrate the virgin birth of Jesus!

Basking in the Son,
Michelle
