Dear Family and Friends,
Thank you so much for your response to our need for a furnace. Many of you wrote wanting to help. We are very blessed that one of our sponsors donated all the money needed for the purchase of the furnace and others, who were willing to sponsor, gave donations to be used for other needs we have in our ministry now. Many, many thanks to those of you who gave!
Our employees in Romania wrote to say they identified the first Agape Home resident but she ran away from where she was the day before she was supposed to move in to our facility. We ask you to pray for this young woman to find peace and for our employees as they identify women to come to our maternal shelter.
Daniel and I are leaving today for three weeks of travel. We will continue to be in contact through email if you would like to write. Here is our travel schedule:
October 20-24 in Charleston, SC
October 25-November 3 in Englewood, Florida
November 3-5 in West Palm Beach, Florida
November 5-6 Jacksonville, Florida
November 6-8 Charleston, SC
November 8 – back at home in NC (home is close to Fayetteville, NC)
We will be speaking at a church in Englewood, Florida and at the Palm Beach Atlantic Christian College. If there is a way we could meet up with you along this route, please let us know. We are eager to meet some of our friends and family this trip!
Please continue to pray for Daniel as he deals with much pain in his knee. It makes me feel bad to see him in pain! He has seen a doctor but there wasn’t much information because they wanted to do a MRI and because of our health care insurance situation, that is not possible. We really need God to touch and heal his knee. Thank you for your prayers!
