Mission to Romania

Ceau Again!

Dear Family and Friends,

After six LONG weeks in the USA, I am back in Romania!! I was so thrilled to see the children yesterday and to kiss their precious little faces. They changed immensely in six weeks. I couldn’t believe they became ever cuter than before!

I met many wonderful people while in the USA as I traveled about. Welcome to those of you that are receiving this update for the first time!

The week that I came to the USA in November, the gypsy mother that I wrote about before leaving, delivered her baby, Estera.  Estera is a precious little girl now seven weeks old. Our maternal assistants ADORE her! I hope to send a photo soon but one of my bags did not make it back with me and my video equipment was in that bag. Please pray that it get here soon! (The same bag has almost all the clothing that I own as well…this doesn’t bode well for me regarding upcoming winter days!!)

Our precious little Catalin was adopted by a Romanian family one week before Christmas. The young family was so excited to have such a tremendous blessing in their lives! We praise God that we were able to be a part of four Romanian families adopting babies in 2000! We were told that Romanian families would not be interested in adopting but Esti and I both felt God would burden the hearts of Romanians…and HE did!!!

I have attached a photo taken by Mary Sibert during her visit her in November. It is a photo that we will be using on our brochure as well.   Aren’t they beautiful children?!?!?!?

I will write more soon. I have a list of prayer requests to send out in the next couple of days.

Many thanks to so many of you for making my visit so special in the USA. It was great to see so many of you! Thanks to my family for putting up with my crazy schedule. I love and miss y’all already!

Basking in the Son,
Michelle
