Dear Family and Friends,
I am writing this email as Jay and I hurl through the mountains in Boone, NC.
We have made a eleven hour round-trip drive in one day to test our sanity. I have emerged the victorious one while Jay quietly pounds his green tea bottle into his head. I can’t imagine why spending 10 hours with me in a car would produce such results. 
In case you don’t remember the name Jay, he is a member of my church in Charleston who has agreed to be the Board of Directors Chairman for our new non-profit. Yes, it happened. We have met with an attorney and CPA to begin the whole process. The result of our efforts……Children in the Son, Inc.!!!! Praise the Lord, we finally have a non-profit in the USA!! As a result, we visited Samaritan’s Purse in Boone, NC to request additionally funding for our ministry. Please, please, pray that God move on their hearts so we can financial support the work in Romania.
While I have been living out of my car in the US, life has continued on at New Life House in Romania. During my two weeks here, Esti has written to tell me the following:
Marius is now walking
Daciana is now walking
Zambo stood for the first time
Rebeca has left to be with her adoptive parents
Daciana made her first “potty” trip
Laura Dana is back at New Life House and well
We have acquired 3 month old twin boys
Can you say, WOW!!! I am so very proud of Esti and the other workers for plowing ahead with the program and work. I have spoken with her twice during my visit here and she is handling the ministry beautifully.
I met with my pastor, Ron, and the Romanian task force team from my church on Sunday. I was excited by their enthusiasm and desire to put so much work into this ministry. They are such a blessing!!
(The above portion of this email was written last Tuesday, the 19th)
Since then, I have returned to Romania!! I will be writing another update tomorrow to include how much the children have changed in three weeks. My goodness!!!!
