Dear Family and Friends,
This is my worse day on the mission field. Esti informed me that, Marius, our first baby that was to be taken into New Life House, died yesterday. The doctor had promised that she would not return him to his horribly abusive home but she did last week. Esti begged her to please wait until New Life House was open. Yesterday, he was returned to the hospital frozen to death. One month ago, Marius was the impetus for our crisis action in beginning New Life House. At that time, he was brought to the hospital with severe cigarette burns on his body. His suffering is no more. Praise God.
Esti and I have cried all morning. Children do not have rights here. I have no idea what we are going to do but we will not let his death be in vain. Please pray that we can demonstrate the love of Christ to others as we deal with this nightmare through our tears.
