Dear Friends and Family,
After weeks of praise reports regarding Crizantina, we are urgently requesting your prayers for her. So many miracles have transpired to get her to Chicago to receive medical care….I refuse to believe that God wants her to come to heaven now.
Crizantina had her third surgery this past Wednesday. The other two surgeries had been successful but there have been many complications since last Wednesday. Last night, Jeff and I received notice from Dr. Williams that she was doing poorly and that she had a high temperature. I became ill when I read his words. I called the nurses station and they were too busy to give me much information. So, I consulted the Great Physician to perform medical miracles.
Dr. Williams wrote me tonight to tell me that she is doing better today and that they have started antibiotics for an infection. They were not successful in straightening her leg as they had hoped. They were able to get in to 90 degrees and now they must depend on physical therapy for the remainder.
On another praise note, One of Jeff’s friends, Craig Valosin, donated a $500 travel voucher so that I could make plans to visit Crizantina over the next few months!! I make my first trip to Chicago on January 14th and will return on the 18th. At that time, I will have to try and get her visa extended (it expires in February.)
Thanks to all of you who have written me to tell me your prayers. Please continue to keep in touch. Currently, Jeff and I are in Charleston to meet with my pastor for marriage counseling and to consult about our ministry. We have the computer with us so please feel free to write with any questions or comments.
Basking in the Son,
Michelle
